Twin Hills Restaurant in Okmulgee stands as a straightforward stop that feels like a slice of local life right off Hwy 16. It operates more like a classic café mixed with a convenience plaza, making it a practical spot for both quick fuel-ups and casual meals, especially if you're passing through or working nearby.

The vibe is unpretentious and clean, with an emphasis on hearty, no-fuss food. Breakfast is a clear highlight here—pancakes and hashbrowns earn repeat praise for being reliably satisfying and well-prepared. It’s the kind of breakfast that locals seem to come back for, particularly in the morning hours when you can expect a regular crowd made up of nearby workers and travelers starting their day.

Beyond breakfast, the menu offers a range of sandwiches and salads that fit the diner mold: straightforward, filling, and made to hit the spot during a midday break or light dinner. Specials like Indian tacos on Tuesdays add a bit of local character to an otherwise classic lineup, reflecting Okmulgee’s regional tastes. Portions tend to be generous, and the food comes fresh and hot, meeting the expectations of those who are used to the homestyle, down-to-earth fare of a roadside eatery.

Visitors who plan to stop mid-trip will find Twin Hills serves multiple needs: decent food, restroom access, and basic convenience items. It’s not a bustling spot with a trendy atmosphere but rather a functional local hub where the emphasis is on getting fed and back on the road without fuss.

Best times to visit are early mornings for breakfast lovers or midday if you want a quick, hearty lunch with some local flavor. The atmosphere is quiet enough for a relaxed bite but busy enough during peak times to remind you it’s a well-used community waypoint.

Overall, Twin Hills fits the mold of a small-town café that’s woven into the fabric of its surroundings, serving locals and travelers alike who need a straightforward, dependable meal without pretense.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Twin Hills Cafe, and I must say, the experience was fantastic. The food they serve is simply amazing. Every dish I tried was prepared with great attention to detail and bursting with flavor. Whether it was their savory sandwiches or their delectable desserts, each bite was a delight for the taste buds. But what truly sets Twin Hills Cafe apart is their outstanding staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasant dining experience. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to provide recommendations or answer any questions I had. The atmosphere of the cafe is also worth mentioning. It's cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. Whether you're dining alone or with friends, Twin Hills Cafe offers a welcoming ambiance that adds to the overall enjoyment of the visit. Overall, I highly recommend Twin Hills Cafe. From their amazing food to their exceptional staff, this establishment truly has it all. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, you won't be disappointed. Give them a try and see for yourself!"

Located in the middle of nowhere. If you are driving on Hwy 16, traveling east or west, it is advised that you stop at Twin Hills Convenience Plaza and Restaurant for fuel, food, and drinks. It is miles to the next town and restroom. Not exactly a Buc-ee's, Love's or Pilot, like on the interstate, but it works. You can get the bare necessities: beef jerky, beer, a hot meal and a nature break. One end of the building is the gasoline and convenience store and the other end is the Twin Hills Restaurant. On the front door of the restaurant today a sign," Help Wanted, 2 Cooks Needed." This always worries me when I see a sign like this at a restaurant. Who's doing the cooking today? And, where will they find help way out here? Inside you will find a fairly clean restaurant. Seat yourself. Menus and drink orders handled promptly. My usual. My wife went with one griddle cake and a couple of eggs. My plate was okay. The eggs just a little under cooked and the bacon not quite as crisp as I like. It was good food though. The prices are very reasonable. Daily specials and cobblers! The service was friendly. I imagine the overworked cook staff is hoping to get some help soon. If you are in the witness protection program, cooking here would be a perfect disguise. Consider it. It is a clandestine location and you can stay out of the public's eye, secluded in the kitchen. Similar in name, but not the same. Disappointing, and the reason for minus one star; the Twin Hills Restaurant, is nothing like the old Twin Peaks Restaurants.

Good portions. Idk if we were lucky but we got the native cook, and man can he throw down. We ordered 3 burger baskets and a pork chop breakfast, it was some of the best food we ever had at any diner. We will be returning customers :)

Food and service were great. Gavin took good care of us. We had the fried pickles, double cheeseburger, onion rings, BLT, and French fries. Everything tasted good and was nice and hot. We'll definitely come back!
